Lead Android Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Android Engineer to join our mobile applications team. In this role, you will lead a team of talented Android developers to design and develop the next generation of cutting-edge mobile apps to interface with and control many of our latest devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead mobile application development from product conception to launch.
• Help enhance, maintain and improve existing applications.
• Lead and contribute to the design and development lifecycle activities such as: Architecture, design, implementation, project estimation, scheduling, and integration planning.
• Research, implement and demonstrate proof-of-concept applications.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrated architectural and design capabilities in mobile application development.
• Expert knowledge of the Android platform and at least 10 years of solid commercial mobile application development experience with Kotlin or Java is required.
• Experience and knowledge of network protocols is required.
• Experience with git/svn source code repositories, continuous build & integration systems is required.
