Description:

  • This position is responsible for supporting the Fiscal Services department in the maximization and efficient use of utilized technologies; driving streamlined processes, creating accurate and timely results in a cost effective manner, while assisting in the attainment of departmental established service level targets and quality metrics. This position reports to the Senior Director, Maine Medical Center Fiscal Services.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: College degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Analytics, Programming, or Business. Significant, relevant experience with large entities and complex systems may be substituted for this educational requirement.
    • License/Certifications: N/A
    • Experience: See "Education." Minimum of 5 -7 years of progressive systems/business analytic experience, with demonstrable analytical skills applied to computer technology to resolve business problems and/or increase operational efficiencies.
    • Ability to deal with the inherent ambiguity related to requirements definition and analysis, and the exercise of sound judgment in line with a business unit's overall goals.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with users, in order to determine business needs and translate them into programming specifications.
    • Ability to effectively document and train users in the use of computer technology so as to achieve identified goals and quality metrics.
