Senior UI Engineer/Architect

Job Description/Responsibilities

My company is seeking a Senior UI Engineer/Architect to design, develop, and implement business-centric applications.

• Architect, design, and implement application user interfaces, collaborating with other members of the development team.
• Utilize Angular version 7 and above
• Create highly optimized, engaging user experiences
• Write manageable, modular code, along with automated unit and integration tests
• Help release and maintain code and debug production issues

Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent from an accredited college or university
• 5+ years front-end development experience with Angular (note, excluding AngularJS)
• Strong client-side development skills with a track record of developing externally facing web applications
• Successful development of scalable, component-oriented user interfaces through multiple release cycles
• Experience with Typescript and Angular Framework (v7 and above), as well as jQuery and UI component libraries (e.g. Kendo)
• Solid understanding of web standards such as HTTP and REST, as well as HTML, CSS/SCSS and surrounding technologies
