TITLE: Director of Clinical Services

LOCATION: Administration Annex
JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for ensuring every
student's social, behavioral and emotional development is addressed in a systematic
manner and supportive of attainment of high academic standards and good citizenship.
Responsible for supervision of all school social workers, school counselors, school
nurses, and all contracted behavioral and medical service providers.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct and facilitate Functional Behavioral Assessments for students who
demonstrate behaviors that impede their learning or the learning of others.
Engage with classroom teachers to implement PBSP's, provide coaching on
implementation strategies, conduct fidelity checks, and collect and analyze
behavioral data to determine student progress.
Engage with students demonstrating disruptive behaviors to develop appropriate
interventions
Stay current in the field of student behavior and bridge the gap between research
and practice. Facilitating school-based high quality professional development
based on areas of need, working with teachers (in teams or individually) to refine
their knowledge, skills and understanding. Professional development could
include, but is not limited to, in-class coaching, observing, modeling of
instructional strategies, guiding teachers in looking at student work, developing
lesson plans with teachers based on student needs, supporting data analysis,
supporting the integration of technology, co-planning with teachers, etc.
Building and maintaining confidential relationship with teachers.
Direct and facilitate Functional Behavioral Assessments for students who
demonstrate behaviors that impede their learning or the learning of others
Assist in the development of Positive Behavior Support Plans for students based
on the identified function of the student's behavior.
Engage with classroom teachers to implement PBSP's, provide coaching on
implementation strategies, conduct fidelity checks, and collect and analyze
behavioral data to determine student progress.
Engage with students demonstrating disruptive behaviors to develop appropriate
Stay current in the field of student behavior and bridge the gap between research
and practice.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred
Valid Pennsylvania certification as required by the Department of Education
PA Administrative Certification required
Strong behavioral and classroom management background
Submission of pre-employment medical examination (Section 148 of the
Pennsylvania School Code).
Submission of a report of criminal history record from the Pennsylvania State
Police (Section 111 of the Pennsylvania School Code).
Submission of a clearance report from the Pennsylvania Department of Public
Welfare in accordance with Act 151 of 1994.
Submission of the FBI Criminal History Record in accordance with Act 114 of
2006Submission of sexual misconduct/abuse disclosure release form in
accordance with Act 168 of 2014.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and
acceptable.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Able to sit for an extended period of time.

Able to carry objects (up to 20 lbs.) in arms or by other
appropriate means.
Able to use hands and arms to reach and pick up objects.
Able to travel inside or outside the District as necessary for
work related tasks.
