Description:

Nationwide manufacturer in Corpus Christi , Texas area is seeking a Roll Form Manager to support the plants Roll Form application system and coordinate resources for operations. This position is responsible for troubleshooting roll form and tube line operations in various locations and implementing continuous improvement processesrelated to new equipment, testing, and controlling documentation.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma/GED Required, College/University Engineering Degree Preferred

Three-to-Five (3-5) Years Related Experience Required; or Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience

Minimum Two (2) Years ISO Experience Preferred

Manufacturing Industry Experience Preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient organizational skills with great attention to detail and quality orientation

Broad based understanding of stamping application processes

Working knowledge of roll forming/equipment

Excellent verbal/written communication skills to present information

Proficientinformation gathering and monitoring skills to facilitate effective, unbiased decision-making and problem-solving function

Fundamentalcomputer literacy with knowledge of quality assurance/ISO software

Dependability to be consistently at work and on time

Possess a Team mentalitywith ability to take initiative and maintain confidentiality

Close visual acuity and upper limb coordination with light/medium (5-20 lbs) lifting capability during normal phase duties

Working knowledge and experience with roll forming and welded tube lines

Ability to read tooling drawings and set up charts

Strong mechanical knowledge preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports Companys Roll Forming application system through knowledgeable application of ISO processes and principles and ASTM specification.

Coordinates Roll Forming application resources for assistance to locations/operations.

Assists Operations department with improving Roll Forming/equipment efficiencies utilizing machine/equipment evaluations and design changes.

Assists Purchasing department with tooling and machine/equipment requirements;

interfaces with external suppliers and vendors on development of components or raw material needed for stamping applications.

Provides technical knowledge and assistance for Continual Improvement projects related to new equipment, testing, and controlling documentation as needed.

Assist with roll forming application processes as needed.
