Job Description - Senior Highway Transportation Engineer/Project Manager Columbus, Ohio.

JobResponsibilities

Senior Highway Transportation Engineer/Project Managerwith experience consistent, but not limited to:

• Monitoring and coordinating client and teaming partners.
• Working to grow personnel and office disciplines.
• Coordinate with other leaders across the company footprint.
• Managing the operations portion of the business.
• Managing complex highway engineering projects.
• Coordinating with project team, clients, and reviewing agencies.
• Leading and providing quality control for roadway geometry and plans, pavement marking plans, grading plans, traffic control plans, drainage and erosion control plans & reports, permits, and project cost estimates and specifications.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and technical staff.
• Developing and Managing Budgets, schedule, and scope of work.
• Preparing proposals and assisting with marketing efforts.
• Managing client relationships with Public and Private Clients.

Required Attributes:

• Required education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, MS a plus.
• P.E. required
• Minimum years of work experience: 15+
• Licenses Required: Professional Engineer in Ohio
• Familiarity with current design standards (ODOT, County, etc.)
• Efficient use of applicable engineering software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Looks for and seizes opportunities to improve work products
