Description:
The Behavioral Wellness Center is seeking a cleared Tactical Senior Network Engineer responsible for designing and maintaining Be Well's computer networks. Ensures networks operate efficiently and securely by identifying and resolving issues as they arise. The Senior Network Engineer must have an in-depth understanding of network protocols, server hardware and software, and operating systems. Responsible for administering network security measures such as firewalls and monitoring and controlling access to networks. Collaborates with other IT professionals to develop and implement new network systems as needed. Manages BeWell's IT system and maintains its stability and security.
Education & Training: candidates must have a degree in computer science or a related field and hold industry-recognized certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.

- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of five years of experience in network engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, VLAN, and VPN.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing network infrastructures, using different network hardware and software products, such as HP Servers, Barracuda firewalls, and Fortinet routers. Experience in implementing and troubleshooting network security solutions, such as firewalls, SSL VPN, IPS/IDS, and SIEM.
- Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools, such as Wireshark, Nagios, and SolarWinds. Experience with firewalls (Barracuda/Microsoft Office 365/ Fortinet)
- Experience utilizing fiber optic cabling
- In depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols. Familiarity with access control models, network security, scripting languages, client/server architectures and network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of network device operating systems and network design practices.
