Position Overview
BayCare Medical Group is actively recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider (either a nurse practitioner or physician assistant) to join their cardiology practice based at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Mease Dunedin Hospital in Dunedin and outpatient clinic at bardmoor, in Largo. This role involves supporting the cardiology physician team with hospital rounds, consults, and outpatient clinic duties. The practice emphasizes a professional and personally rewarding environment, fostering collaboration among physicians and advanced practice providers.
The cardiology team currently comprises 20 physicians and 13 Advanced Practice Providers (ACPs), all dedicated to delivering high-quality heart and vascular care. They are seeking a candidate who brings clinical experience in cardiac medicine to contribute to their team. Acute Care Certification is required
Qualifications
This position will also include:
Position requires: Florida licensure and certification NP-C or PA-C. Acute Care Certification, and clinical experience in ICU or cardiac medicine is required.

Qualifications
This position will also include:
- Outpatient consultative and follow up care
- Call responsibilities inlude weekend rotation between four APP's - each weekend is covered by one physician and one APP
- Additional call responsibilities include critical lab call done remotely with a rotation of 1:12- taken in one-week increments
- Ideal candidate should be flexible, affable, creative, energetic, and can show compassion while working with patients.
