Head of Portfolio Management
Dragonfly Therapeutics is seeking a Head of Portfolio Management, title commensurate with experience, with a strong scientific background in Oncology, Immunology, or Immuno-oncology and an established track record in biologics development and program leadership. The role will report to the COO, is hands-on and requires frequent collaboration and excellent working relationships with multiple internal groups. The successful candidate will excel in a highly collaborative work environment with a multi-disciplinary and diverse team, focusing on multiple programs in parallel. An ability to interact effectively with team members and senior leaders, proactively facilitating effective information exchange, communication, and problem-solving skills are key success factors. The work will be fast paced with evolving needs, requiring adaptability, curiosity, and grace under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight of Dragonfly programs and alliances
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to create integrated development plans that define goals, milestones, critical path, timeline, risks, assumptions, alternative scenarios, and budgets
- Lead cross-functional program teams and facilitate technical and scientific discussions to progress development plans, track schedule and monitor budget performance for various internal research and development programs, from discovery to DC nomination into IND-enabling and early clinical development
- Build strong relationships within the organization and serve as key point person for program team members and leadership team on project-related scientific discussion, communication, issue identification, and management
- Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization regarding program strategy, progress and timelines
- Coordinate the development of regular program progress updates and maintain dashboards to effectively engage management through program reviews and governance interactions
- Be a role model for a culture of transparency, collaboration, and open communication
Qualifications:
- Degree in life sciences; advanced degree (PhD or MBA) preferred
- Twelve plus years of industry experience, including at least five years in a project leadership role
- Strong understanding of cross-functional drug development from preclinical through commercialization
- Strong leadership and meeting management skills, with ability to influence at all levels of an organization
- Experience in the application of program management principles, tools and practices
- Proficient in MS Office, including Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Office Timeline, Think-Cell, or comparable timeline management tools is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with consistency and attention to detail (including grammar, syntax, and scientific accuracy)
- Strong results-driven personality with a high level of enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude
- Team-player with ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment with focus on multiple programs in parallel
- Strong listening skills to foster an open, collaborative environment
