POSITION SUMMARY

Wayne Brothers, Inc. (WBI) has an exciting opportunity for a new Supply Chain Manager within our Industrial Services Group. In this position, you will play a crucial role in enhancing all procurement activities for the Industrial Concrete Division, Industrial Piping Systems Division, and the Industrial Millwright Division. This position requires a strategic problem solver with outstanding leadership skills and excellent business acumen. A strong background in construction materials management, procurement of process pipe fabrication material(s), and millwright services is preferred.

The Supply Chain Manager will spearhead company-wide procurement and supply chain systems development across all divisions of the Wayne Brothers Industrial Services Group. To be successful in this role, the Supply Chain Manager will thoughtfully and intentionally identify the critical staffing elements and build a sustainable organizational structure for the WBI Procurement & Supply Chain eco-system, as necessary to effectively support the overall fiscal growth of the Industrial Services Group. These functions may include but are not limited to the following Tactical and Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain Functions.

- Tactical Procurement Functions:

o Coordinate inbound/outbound raw materials management with receiving quality inspection to identify supplier non-conformances for material rejection upon receipt of shipments.

o Efficiently manage WIP material and equipment allocation to and from job sites.

o Successful implementation of inventory control monitoring and material disposition procedures for scrap reduction.

o Develop robust asset tagging and asset tracking methods for shop and field equipment, and tooling.

o Inventory lot-control and BOM traceability for shop and field equipment, materials, and tooling.

o Right sizing of on-hand inventory and effective use of First-In, First-Out methods.

o Implement a sustainable tool-crib style approach to the management and disposition of consumables and small tools.

- Strategic Procurement Functions:

o Deployment of supplier quality & supplier development initiatives and standards in alignment with WBI Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) standards.

o Coordinate operational assessments for WBI supplier qualification and maintain global approved supplier list. Includes primary supplier performance monitoring and sub-tier supplier quality assurance.

o Manage Warranty and Cost Recovery procedures.

o Develop and maintain enhanced standards for Tooling Management.

o Coordinate preventive maintenance of equipment and assets to ensure useful life.

o Develop and implement competitive sourcing strategies to ensure cost competitiveness, while maintaining the highest standards of material quality.

o Leverage new technologies to streamline WBI means and methods for material certification with lot control/traceability throughout the shop and field.

o Adhere to all relevant industry standards for responsible sourcing, including Conflict Minerals Compliance (if applicable) when servicing large, publicly traded clients.

o Understand the evolving landscape of complex supply chains and implement a cutting-edge, strategic vision to ensure WBI remains on track to become the #1 construction services provider in the industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Establish and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams while encouraging open communication and teamwork.
Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance culture with the team, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Build effective teams within the Procurement & Supply Chain eco-system to support the long-term growth of the WBI Industrial Group.
Assess supplier performance using data analytics and implement corrective measures to maintain quality and delivery targets.
Pro-actively engage with Suppliers/Vendors, Shop/Field Superintendents & Foreman, Skilled Trades, Craft Employees, Division Managers, Project Managers, Project Engineering, QA/QC Management, Finance Management, Cost Estimation Teams, and Executive Management to ensure overall success for the WBI Industrial Services Group and our client-base.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Procurement & Supply Chain function of the Industrial Group, using data-based decisions to find opportunities, optimize processes, reduce risk, and improve overall efficiency of WBI operations.
Develop and implement supply-base rationalization strategies to minimize risk and ensure continuity of material/equipment supply.
Identify opportunities to automate and digitize record retention of Critical to Quality (CTQ) procedures, industry standards, or document retention per client directives.

Maintain an accurate database with cost/pricing history at the component level, to be

PM20Education and/or Experience Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Systems Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent is required. Minimum 8 years of Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Materials Management, or equivalent experience is required. Minimum 4 years directly leading a team in Supply Chain Program Management, or a procurement organization within the construction services or related industry. Proven track record of leadership and team management to empower and develop an impactful team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED (OR) PREFERRED Excellent attitude and character. Willingness to learn and share knowledge of industry best-practices.
