CAS Auto Sales Manager

$85,000.00 per year + Bonus

*Reporting to Miami Lakes, FL*


Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for structuring and leading the sales department. The Sales Manager is accountable for revenue growth, operations, Sales Performance, Employee supervision, inventory turnover, and Customer Satisfaction.

Objectives:
  • Sales targets and revenue growth: Optimize sales team performance and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and vehicle turnover rates. Implement targeted sales strategies that enhance customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction while acquiring new customers.
  • Define and implement sales strategy: Establish a clear, actionable sales strategy targeting existing customers and new customer acquisition, driving growth and market expansion.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing sales team: Create and nurture a skilled, motivated, and efficient sales team capable of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Manage customer relationships: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving any customer issues or concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team: ensure alignment with sales & marketing goals and efforts.


Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Risk Management
  • Manage & monitor the sales budget to maximize ROI
  • Develop all sales-related processes: Ensure a seamless, efficient, and customer-centric sales process from the initial point of sale to post-sale support.
  • Alignment between the sales goals and the marketing strategy
  • Oversight of CAS Auto Inventory Sales Planning and align sales strategies with market demand to maximize efficiency and profitability.


Define and Implement a Sales Strategy
  • Establish KPIs for both existing customer sales and conquest sales.
  • Track and analyze performance against these metrics weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Formulate detailed sales plans targeting existing customers and new customer acquisition.
  • Implement marketing and outreach strategies in collaboration with the marketing department.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for the sales team that focus on the two-pronged strategy.
  • Regularly update training content to reflect market trends and sales data.


Take Ownership of the Entire Sales Process
  • Oversee the sales process from point-of-sale to customer handover, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve the sales process continuously.
  • Develop a robust post-sale support system to address customer inquiries and issues.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements based on feedback.
  • Assist the sales team in securing and onboarding large fleet accounts.
  • Ensure all processes are in place for smooth account management and customer satisfaction.


Oversee CAS Auto Inventory and Sales Planning
  • Collaborate with the Sales Planning department to monitor and manage inventory levels.
  • Ensure inventory aligns with sales demand by model, region, and regulatory requirements.
  • Consolidate sales demand by model, selling price, region, and regulations.
  • Adjust sales strategies based on consolidated data to meet market needs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales metrics to upper management.
  • Conduct regular reviews of sales performance and inventory status.
  • Maintain an efficient inventory turnover rate, ensuring that the average time a vehicle remains in stock does not exceed 20 days.


Build and Maintain a High-Performing Sales Team
  • Organize and structure an efficient sales team to meet sales and inventory targets.
  • Identify and fill critical positions to enhance team performance and coverage.
  • Revise and implement sales training programs to keep the team up to date with industry practices.
  • Supervise the sales team to ensure adherence to company policies and performance standards.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Procurement, Sales Planning, and Compliance departments.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to achieve desired sales targets and business objectives.


Marketing:
  • Planning: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with sales objectives and business goals.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring they are designed to drive sales and meet revenue targets.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing feedback to the marketing team and making data-driven decisions to optimize future efforts.


Required Language(s) and Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent Sales skills: prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent business acumen, budget management, and financial monitoring.
  • Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivation, training, and mentorship.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listening.
  • Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment
  • Fluent in English.


Education and Experience:
  • At least ten years of Sales Experience
  • Deep understanding of business in LATAM & Caribbean markets (other international markets would be a plus)
  • Intrapreneurial mindset for out-of-the-box sales tactics and direction
  • Preferred Wholesale, B2B mindset and experience
  • Ability to manage a team of at least 6 Sales Professionals
  • Understanding of Sales Strategy, CRM & Business Development
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in business Admin. A master's degree would be a plus.
  • Nice to have: Sales in B2B Platforms and access to a wealth of Network Contacts, e.g., Key Accounts - Dealers, corporations, Mining, Construction, Rental, Fleet, Oil & Gas, Shipping Freight Forwarders
