Essential Functions
The Director, Talent Development, NA will design and implement our leadership development strategy and roadmap in concert with driving and supporting our talent management process. The Director, Talent Development, NA is responsible for the design and implementation of programs that aim to attract, measure, develop and manage an organization's talent pool.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, HR business or a related discipline is required
Experience
10+ years' relevant experience in the areas of leadership development, organizational development, learning and development is required. Candidates with experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or related industry are preferred. Proven though leadership and strategic thinking, ability to excel in a quickly growing and evolving business landscape is required. Facilitation certifications are preferred (i.e. 360 Feedback, personality assessments, etc.).
Technical Skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite is required.
Non-Technical Skills
Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong work ethic is required. Detail oriented and excellent follow through. Excellent communications, facilitation and analytical skills. Has the ability to flex and deal with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced, high growth environment. Has a passion for personal learning and development to be able to grow with the company. Cultural sensitivity and ability to develop consensus within a multinational organization.
This position is based in Princeton, NJ and will requires up to 10% domestic and international travel

Essential Functions
The Director, Talent Development, NA will design and implement our leadership development strategy and roadmap in concert with driving and supporting our talent management process. The Director, Talent Development, NA is responsible for the design and implementation of programs that aim to attract, measure, develop and manage an organization's talent pool.
- Architect and implement a measurable leadership and development strategy and annual roadmap.
- Build partnerships with senior leaders, regional and global teams; influence and demonstrate effective consulting and coaching skills.
- Consult and collaborate with Company leaders, employees, and Human Resources to identify, assess and evaluate training and development needs throughout the region.
- Develop innovative solutions that address business priority needs and raising the bar on leadership behaviours.
- Deliver targeted and engaging leadership offerings that are culturally aligned and tangibly impact performance.
- Solutions may include virtual learning experiences, on demand learning resources, in person skill building workshops and team development events.
- Design, implement and lead through leadership development programs to include production of instructional materials and evaluation methods and metrics to determine impact. Develop programs and initiatives to support succession planning.
- Collect, analyze and communicate meaningful learning metrics. Keep informed of industry best practices and engage ongoing feedback loop internally to seek continuous improvement in the career development and leadership space.
- Imbed a Talent Management framework and implement career development strategies, tools and resources to accelerate the growth of internal talent.
- Propose insights to HR Business Partners to increase effectiveness, reach and visibility of career programs and help the organization respond to career and talent related needs and opportunities.
- Organize and lead through global programs where applicable.
- Work closely with our DE&I workstream for programs that may support ongoing initiatives.
- Partner with Company leaders, Human Resources and Total Rewards to identify and develop career paths/lattices for relevant roles to encourage and support internal progression/cross functional movement and professional development.
- Adopt a global mindset, exhibit cultural sensitivity and work effectively across culture
