Job Description

Join the Naval Nuclear Laboratory team as a Project Analyst at the Naval Reactors Facility (NRF) located on the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). The Project Analyst will support project/production teams and provide project management support to new and existing processes, projects, and programs within the Program Management Division area of support. The work tasks will include project planning and scheduling, resource management, budgeting and cost control, measuring project performance, risk management, coordination and integration of project team efforts, and communication with project stakeholders.
Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to the following:
Aids in determining priorities of project deliverables and works to assign resources in support of those priorities.
Prepare and analyze budget, cost, and workforce estimates and actual costs for projects/processes supported.
Support control of project/production performance by developing and reporting metrics, assessing recommended change control requests and processing if approved, and coordinating the development of periodic performance assessments.
Develops and manages the risk management plan with the project Lead, report status of risk, and recommend mitigations strategies.
Coordinates, supports, and may facilitate team meetings.
Prepares materials and may present at periodic project and program reviews with management and stakeholders.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with project management, production operations, construction projects, and/or production support operations.
  • Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and Access.
  • Experience with Government contracts and procurements.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or other PM Certification.
  • Industrial Engineering or Industrial Engineering Technologist Degree is a plus though not required.

Pay Range

$68,800.00 - $105,300.00 annually

Salary information provided is a general guide line only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
