Overview

The Regional Field Instructor will lead our organizational training efforts. In this role, you will be responsible
for devising and implementing a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
Your primary focus will be identifying training needs, designing relevant programs, and assessing their
impact on employee performance and loyalty.

The Regional Field Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to security
personnel across multiple locations within the assigned region. This role involves developing training
materials, conducting training sessions, and ensuring that all employees are adequately prepared to perform
their duties effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, excellent
communication skills, and a passion for teaching and development.

The Regional Field Instructor will collaborate with various departments to ensure employees receive the
necessary training that improves performance, increases productivity, and fosters a culture of continuous
learning and development.

Compensation: $80,000/annually

Responsibilities

I. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Training Development
Assist in the creation and updating of training materials, manuals, and standard operating
procedures to ensure they are current, relevant and effectively support internal customer training
request and external client needs.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, department heads, operations managers and other
stakeholders to identify training needs and objectives.
Ensure that training materials are engaging, informative, and aligned with organizational goals and
standards.
Obtain and/or maintain certifications required to teach and train organizational and regional training
programs and content.
Training Delivery
Work with Operational Partners to develop practical training programs at the site level that comply
with contractual, state and regulatory training requirements.
Deliver comprehensive training programs in accordance with local, state and federal laws and
regulations.
Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for employees across multiple locations within the
assigned region.

Develop and deliver train-the-trainer programs to internal staff or external partners who will assist in
delivering training sessions within the region. Provide guidance on effective training techniques,
facilitation skills, and content delivery.
Facilitate interactive workshops, seminars, and webinars on topics such as product knowledge,
customer service, sales techniques, compliance, and leadership development.
Compliance
Conduct periodic site visits to address non-compliance issues, perform training as necessary, meet
with clients, when possible, document each site visit details, and develop training programs as
needed to address and performance deficiencies.
Ensure that training programs address relevant compliance requirements and industry regulations.
Keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards that may impact training
content or delivery methods.
Assist in the investigation of incidents involving the use of force to ensure compliance with training
protocols and develop corrective action plans to improve performance.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, performance metric
and provide recommendations for improvements.
Relationship Management
Identify, vet and establish relationships with local third-party venders in support of operations.
Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including regional managers, department
heads, and employees.
Collaborate with local leadership to identify training needs, prioritize initiatives, and support
organizational objectives.
Operational Support
Provide training support for new client transitions, corporate acquisitions, or serving as an additional
resource for other regions when needed.
Serve as the training resource for the Regional Operations Manager within their assigned region.

Qualifications

II. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
College degree in Education, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or other private security or
law enforcement related field
Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary state or federal licensing requirements.
Where firearms instruction is required, must be able to obtain Pistol Instructor certification within 90
days of placement.
Must possess a valid driver's license if driving a company-owned vehicle.
Minimum of three (3) years of classroom instructor experience.
Knowledge of and experience with customer service and relations.
Proven experience with personnel supervision and management.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing
assignments and effectively manage deadlines.
Highly organized and able to keep on track with required information at all times.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work in a very independent environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to write manuals, review and respond to
written requests for proposals, training documents, and prepare extensive presentations.
Highly proficient and fully functional in Microsoft programs such as Word and PowerPoint.

Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
Proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions, and materials in strictest confidence.
Willingness and ability to travel as well as work extended hours to meet business objectives.
Must be able to focus and multi-task in busy environment, with the ability to successfully handle
stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
