The primary role of the Customs Brokerage Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the station. The CHB Operations Manager will also oversee and supervise the brokerage department. The CHB Operations Manager will be expected to approach challenges with creative thought, sense of urgency and be customer focused in all solutions developed.

Salary Range: $80,000 -$90,000 (Annual Salary)

In this position, the Customs Brokerage Operations Manager is responsible for:
- Adhere to, train and advise team in area of Customs Brokerage regulations
- Monitor team performance against company standards and department goals; regular audit of shipment documents
- Monitor problem files and implement corrective action as needed
- Onboard new customers efficiently and effectively
- Review and document general operations processes and procedures
- Participate in training new employees
- Improve overall customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Ensure that department performance meets and exceeds established standards
- Other duties and assignments as required
- Education and Industry Knowledge
- BS/BA degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is an asset
- 5-10 years Import experience
- 2-3 years supervisory/management experience
- Customs Brokerage License Required
- Drawback Experience a Plus
- Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Intermediated computer skills required in Excel (i.e. formulas, graphs)
- Working knowledge of transportation management software
- Cargowise Experience preferred
