UW MEDICINE'S REVENUE INTEGRITY DEPARTMENT has an outstanding opportunity for a REVENUE INTEGRITY ANALYST.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Building strong relationships with process improvement.
Provider level engagement and outreach
Part of the administrative team that is responsible for UW Medicine Revenue Integrity initiatives.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify charge capture/reimbursement issues and resolutions using available mechanisms.
Perform analysis and troubleshooting for charge capture / missing charge resolution and denial mitigation.
Monitor revenue, usage, and Epic, identify, report, and rectify patterns and trends.
Collaborates with internal customers to assess information requirements and develop special custom and production reports to meet those needs.
Help improve overall performance of Revenue Integrity Department and Enterprise Revenue Cycle.
Analyzes and makes recommendations for improved data quality
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
4 years of Epic experience and experience providing training in clinical operations.
Experience with ICD 10/HCPCS/CPT codes.
Coding credentials CCS, COC, RHIT, RHIA or ability to obtain coding credentials within the 12 months of hire.
Understanding of hospital billing or reimbursement and charge capture operations.
Understanding of CMS regulations and ability to interpret healthcare guidelines and regulations.
Knowledge and experience with Medicare/Medicaid.
OR Equivalent education and/or experience
