This role is pivotal in advancing and expanding our domestic and international academic collaborations to enhance admission, enrollment, and student success initiatives. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in higher education administration, particularly in managing transfer processes and institutional agreements.

Specific Responsibilities
The Project Manager, Transfer and Institutional Partnerships is responsible for the following:
Partnership Development and Management:
- Lead the development and renewal of general and program-specific partnership agreements and MOUs.
- Coordinate and finalize partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support academic and operational goals.
Transfer Process Oversight:
- Manage the student transfer process in alignment with articulation agreements and compliance requirements.
- Ensure seamless coordination between recruitment, admissions, and academic units to facilitate smooth transitions for transfer students.
Information and Communication Flow:
- Oversee communication with academic departments and the Registrar's Office to ensure accurate assessment of course equivalencies and transfer credits.
- Develop and execute promotional plans with the Marketing and Communications team to enhance awareness of transfer opportunities and partnerships.
Review and Compliance:
- Systematize the review and renewal processes for articulation agreements.
- Maintain up-to-date records of articulation agreements, including contact details and validity periods.
Committee Involvement and Leadership:
- Serve on relevant committees and working groups within the university.
- Work closely with academic chairs and faculty to address and resolve articulation issues.
Training and Improvement:
- Identify and address training needs for stakeholders involved in the transfer process.
- Recommend strategies for continuous improvement in transfer and partnership practices.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide support and resources to chairs during the articulation agreement approval process.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Competencies:
- Direct experience in articulation and transfer, especially in the coordination of developing and maintaining articulation agreements or similar functions requiring a broad understanding of curriculum and coursework.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of roles (i.e., faculty, chairs, senior administrators, and external constituents) related to articulation and transfer of courses and programs.
- Strategic thinker with strong research and statistical skills who can dissect complex issues and offer effective recommendations and action plans.
- Demonstrated superior written and oral communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, ethics, discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
- High degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to engage and harness input from various stakeholders and subject matter experts and to build consensus.
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously lead, work on multiple projects and tasks, and follow up with others as needed.
- Self-driven, motivated, proactive, adaptive, and highly organized.
Education and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university or post-secondary institute.
- 3 years of direct experience or 5 years of experience in a related field at a regulated post-secondary institute in British Columbia.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and related details, processes, documentation, and engagement with others.
