We're seeking a Plastics Process Engineer to join our company. The ideal candidate will have experience with Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) and provide technical expertise to establish, develop and troubleshoot new and existing processes for manufacturing. Helps to establish and implement procedures to optimize and troubleshoot molding processes. Establishes molding process parameters for production jobs and performs new mold samples, using Scientific Molding Methods, under the direction of the Engineering; Works directly with Project Manager assigned to project; Assures all new jobs are production ready before the start of production. Includes working with QA to establish process books; Performs material and tooling modification samples; Provides technical support to the production floor and implements training of Process Technicians; Makes recommendations for tooling modifications to increase production yield, reduce cycle time or correct quality flaws; Receives and complies with verbal and written directions; Performs and/or produces all work and/or product in conformance with G&F quality management system; Performs machine and auxiliary equipment change over.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $85,000-$90,000 per year
