Job Summary:
MRT-TCS, Deputy Project Manager
Overview: The Master Resilience Tainer (MRT), Training Center Support (TCS) Project Manager is responsible for the program management, curriculum development, course instruction, course evaluation, targeted training, and various training to include resilience and performance training, and administrative support for Ready and Resilient Performance Centers at 35 installations in CONUS and overseas. The Project Manager is responsible for delivery of enhanced performance training to U.S. Army and Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, their families, and Department of the Army (DA) civilians. Services include instruction in the areas of resilience, positive psychology, and performance enhancement; as well as Directorate of Prevention, Resilience and Readiness (DPRR) headquarters support.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the performance of work, compliance and quality control.
- Serves as a principal point of contact with the Government and assists in the management of operations across all installations.
- Ensure the recruitment, training, and retention of a qualified workforce.
- Ensures staff provides high quality customer service and performance services to all clients.
- Attends and assists with external meetings, conducts site visits, communicates program metrics to stakeholders, supervises courses, and manages travel.
- As required, supports a weekly program update briefing, and maintains updated training calendars for all training centers.
- Prepares contractor required reports and administrative documents.
Education and Qualifications:
- Masters' degree from an accredited academic institution.
- Must have prior experience serving in the military.
- Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desired but not required.
- A minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience working in the DoD managing, staffing, overseeing Military Family Programs related to services designed to increase the physical and psychological health, resilience and performance of Soldiers, Families and Army Civilians, including training facilitation, and demonstrated knowledge of support and sustainment-related operations.
- Applicants must successfully undergo a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Tier 1 background investigation.
- Experience managing personnel at geographically dispersed sites.
- Ability to meet and correspond regularly with a government counterpart.
- Experience conducting QC checks and ensuring training requirements are met.
- Experience working directly with clients.
- Ability to exercise a great deal of independent judgment.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
