Key Responsibilities
As a Systems Engineer, you will:
- Deploy, install, and configure cloud-based solutions as part of Sectra's Enterprise Imaging software
- Collaborate with project managers and healthcare IT departments to deliver high-quality implementations
- Perform advanced system configuration and testing for deployments, upgrades, and migration projects
- Support integration between Sectra products and third-party systems (e.g., HIS/RIS, EHR)
- Provide technical training and mentorship for end users and colleagues
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and project plans
- Troubleshoot complex issues and identify innovative solutions to meet customer expectations
- Continuously expand your knowledge in virtual server environments, relational databases, cloud solutions, and interoperability frameworks
- Support customers across all U.S. time zones
What You Need to Succeed
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably within an IT, software deployment, or systems engineering environment
- Proficiency with Windows Server platforms and MS SQL Server
- Familiarity with networking concepts, virtualization, and system architecture
- Hands-on experience with Windows Failover Clustering
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a customer-centric approach
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and be a self-starter
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for learning new technologies
- Ability to support customers across various time zones
- Willingness to travel occasionally (
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Healthcare IT Systems
- Knowledge of PACS, DICOM, HL7, and other healthcare interoperability standards
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCT, CCNA, or MCSA/MCSE
- Certifications in Cloud Services (AWS, Azure)
- Master's degree in a related field is a plus
