Job Summary: The System Director of Provider Recruitment leads a team responsible for executing strategic initiatives aimed at recruiting top-tier physicians and advanced providers for Deaconess Medical Staff and affiliates. This role demands leadership, creativity, and adaptability to achieve recruitment goals across the health system.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Manage performance, coach, and develop the Provider Recruitment team. Lead recruitment efforts as facilities integrate into the system.
- Planning: Coordinate recruitment efforts system-wide, prioritize recruitment needs annually, and execute recruitment plans. Develop hiring strategies and monitor recruitment metrics.
- Marketing/Sourcing: Strategize provider recruitment marketing, represent Deaconess at events, oversee recruitment media, and negotiate locums agreements.
- Recruiting: Conduct complex recruitment processes, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, manage onboarding, and assist with relocation logistics.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years in a related field with leadership experience. Demonstrated competency in dealing with medical professionals in an office, hospital and social setting. Ability to work in a group, team-based fashion and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
