As an integral part of our legal team, you will work closely with lead attorneys, gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative and growth-focused environment. Your responsibilities will include gathering, analyzing, and organizing case information, drafting pleadings, attending depositions, preparing for trials, and other legal document preparations.

We are a prominent firm specializing in property damage insurance claims, business litigation disputes, and personal injury matters, and we are seeking a talented and motivated First Party Property Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our team.
As an integral part of our legal team, you will work closely with lead attorneys, gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative and growth-focused environment. Your responsibilities will include gathering, analyzing, and organizing case information, drafting pleadings, attending depositions, preparing for trials, and other legal document preparations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with lead attorneys and support staff
- Conduct client interviews and locate/interview expert witnesses
- Draft a wide range of legal documents, including discovery, motions, appellate briefs, affidavits, memoranda, and letters
- Investigate factual information to respond to litigation discovery requests
- Assist in all phases of case preparation, from discovery to trial
- Provide trial support and attendance as required
- Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues, such as attorney-client privileged materials
- Travel throughout the state as needed to meet business requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- Current California Bar License in Good Standing
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 3-5 years of experience in First Party Property damage insurance claims, business litigation disputes, and personal injury matters (Plaintiff side preferred)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment
- Effective communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills to represent clients in litigation situations
