Job Description: The key account manager is accountable for developing strategic business plans to manage existing customers while growing and developing prospective customers. The role is critical in meeting annual sales target by aligning our business plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and maintain contact with current and potential customers to promote Arglass sustainable glass and secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales goals and enhance profits.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Utilize market intelligence to form sales strategies and position our products within the market.
  • Generate and report sales performance and KPI's.
  • Communicate effectively both internally and externally to ensure business success.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems by collectively working with team members as required.
  • Work with operations on production planning to meet the needs of customers.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent forecasting and pipeline management skills that drive progress towards objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
  • Experience with food and beverage glass containers is preferred but not required.
  • Proven track record in sales strategy development and execution.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Support existing sales team by leading through influencing to contribute to the success of the team and business.
  • Ability to travel 25%-40% of the time.
  • Potential of remote role depending upon candidate
