Description:
Senior Project Manager
Reports to the Director of Capital Projects
Responsible for cost, schedule budget development and management for capital projects from $500k to $50M.
Responsible to timely identify any changes that may impact costs, schedule, and contract or customer relationship.
Provide support for engineering, ensuring adherence to specifications, codes and standards
Develop procurement packages for major engineered and bulk purchases
Provide support for construction, assist in the resolution production issues, including participation in construction planning process.
Interfaces with on-site construction crews as required ensuring safety is maintained, quality of construction, adherence to overall project schedule, and tracking productivity goals.
May assist in the estimating process, also planning and scheduling using Primavera or MS Project scheduling software.
Experience:
BS degree (Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent preferred).
15 or more years of experience in refineries preferred terminals or pipeline acceptable
Experience and knowledge of operations, construction, design, finance, and management preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
Ability to lift 50lbs, walk long distances, work outside.
Extended work hours, including weekends as may be necessary to meet job requirements.
Other Requirements:
Possess a current "Fitness to Work" medical exam as required.
TWIC credentials as required
Required OQ tasks as identified by Client
Physical Demands:
Ability to work at elevated heights, including using lifts, ladders, and stairs.
Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
Work is done outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
