What You'll Do:
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the College by overseeing the student accounts receivable (Student Receivables) function. You will manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of the student loan management team to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of student billing and collecting student payments. Your strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of managing billing and collections, and ability to collaborate across departments will be essential in achieving the College's financial objectives.

What You'll Do:

Essential responsibilities:
- Establish and improve processes:
- Manage the policies, objectives, and initiatives of the student receivables function to achieve targets and optimize student interactions throughout the student lifecycle.
- Implement processes for student loan underwriting, billing, compliance and collections to ensure that the receivables cycle is effective.
- Continuously evaluate billing processes and systems, identifying opportunities for streamlining, automation, and efficiency enhancements. Implement best practices accordingly.
- Drive process improvements to minimize losses and maintain strong internal controls.
- Manage student receivables and analyze data:
- Track metrics related to student payment performanc
- Work with cross-functional teams to prevent and resolve delinquencies.
- Lead a team to address student questions, set up agreements, and follow up on outstanding matters.
- Work with the finance and accounting team to reconcile student receivable balances, maintain accurate aging, provide necessary reports, and support the financial reporting function.
- Coordinate with the financial aid team to ensure students' financing is properly and timely arranged and communicated.
- Vendor management:
- Manage and hold accountable third-party vendors, including student loan servicers and collections agencies.

Must have:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive, relevant receivables management experience.
- 3+ years of management or supervisory experience.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make timely decisions.
