What You'll Do in This Position
Responsible for developing, integrating, and providing advanced financial services and support to include comprehensive cost and financial analysis and reporting for operations and management personnel.
Assignment to one of the groups within Financial Operations: Accounting , Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Travel, Benefits Accounting, Payroll, Contract Accounting or Strategic Financial Control and Analysis

Reporting & Analysis - Create and conduct primary queries to gather necessary data to generate financial reports and analyzes.
Assemble, analyze, and interpret information and apply practical knowledge to create innovative solutions to resolve complex business issues.
Initiate and direct special studies, develop financial resolution for intricate problem areas for management and translate the conceptual ideas of higher management into operating plans.
Perform extensive analysis of various business operations to ascertain funding limitations and execute appropriate cost controls; identify productivity and financial issues; design highly integrated financial controls; and create cost effective processes to enhance productivity.
Define requirements and develop models for very complex business systems, develop test plans and scenarios, incorporate major system enhancements into existing financial applications, oversee or lead implementation of project and monitor system effectiveness.
Perform financial activities with a proficient ability and knowledge in the development of financial plans and reports on a periodic or ad hoc basis.
Analyze current financial trends and identify potential problem areas.
Communication - Communicate effectively (both oral and written) with Finance Operations team members, internal company customer organizations, management, and external customers to resolve critical business pertinent issues.
Exhibit good oral and written communication skills to effectively and accurately present information and express ideas.
Display interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationships through cooperation and open communication.
Maintain a major involvement in the regular interface with all levels of management.
Prepare and present financial information in the appropriate format to management. Responsible for presenting detailed data and providing recommendations concerning complex subjects.
Business Acumen - Possess an integrated understanding of the company business environment and the operations of the area(s) and function(s) being supported.
Evaluate financial planning and analysis techniques to retrieve data and information and provide recommendations on improving the assurance of good business practices and adherence to contract and corporate policies.
Plan, evaluate, and explain audit results of selected financial and accounting functions to ensure adherence to contract and corporate guidelines.
Respond to questions regarding financial issues by possessing knowledge of activities and transactions which form the basis of financial results
