JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all sales efforts for the Residential division. This includes managing and supporting the New Home Consultants to achieve sales goals success while developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.

This position requires construction site walk-throughs which may include navigating uneven terrain and unfinished homes.
The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all sales efforts for the Residential division. This includes managing and supporting the New Home Consultants to achieve sales goals success while developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement sales strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices for the sales team
- Monitor and continuously improve metrics focused on revenue, sales velocity, and closing ratios
- Manage the contractual process
- Establish good working relationships with lenders, realtors, and other business-related organizations
- Inspect and evaluate communities, models, and speculative homes
- Establish departmental objectives, goals, and budgets annually and conduct operations within guidelines
- Support New Home Consultants with meeting their sales goals, problem solving and training/growth
- Maintain high-level product knowledge of AVB floor plans, available home sites, features, pricing, and communities
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience or education in residential design, architecture, construction, or related fields preferred but not required
- Proven sales leadership experience required
- Ability to work some evening and weekend hours as needed
- Experience with social networking including navigation of websites
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and follow through on tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in, or the ability to become proficient in GKAR Multiple Listing Program and AVB specifications program
