Overview
The Manager, Operational Resilience, will assist with the implementation and embedding of operational resilience across seven global AM Best offices. They will lead the planning, and implementation of strategies, solutions and training including Risk Assessments (Ras), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs) and documentation of the business continuity and disaster recovery procedures globally. The Manager, Operational Resilience will be responsible for, business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions, encompassing the global corporate emergency response, employee preparedness, and crisis management.

Proven ability to write global policies and standards.
Professional Skills

Responsibilities
- Support the development of strategies to address operational resilience risks.
- Perform analysis, prepare recommendations, and implement enterprise business continuity planning tools (i.e. Business Continuity Management and corporate-wide communication / notification solutions).
- Maintain corporate-wide BIAs, BCPs, DRPs and other associated Disaster Recovery (DR)/Business Continuity (BC) policies and procedures.
- Produce clear and accurate Management Information (MI) and reporting by way of dashboards.
- Partner with IT, management, and other stakeholders to develop application / process mapping for business continuity.
- Perform risk analysis to identify points of vulnerability, single points of failure, and identify risk avoidance and mitigation strategies.
- Engage designated responders during a crisis and coordinate response and recovery process.
- Foster strong collaborative relationships internally and externally to understand market trends, and global regulatory requirements/guidance across.
- Ensure effective communication (written and verbal) with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support engagements with regulators, auditors, and external parties to demonstrate effective resilience management.
- Perform maintenance of the team data using Risk Connect Assurance Software, Onsolve Send Word Now and/or any other technology maintained within the team.
- Assist in the coordination of committee meetings and related status reports.
- Assist in the coordination of off-site DR/BC location activity and testing.
- Create training and awareness presentations / materials for employees.
- Review and analyze trends to advise and develop recommendation to achieve and modify safety and security goals.
- Provide oversight on end-to-end applications testing for data centers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 3 to 5 years of business continuity, crisis planning, emergency management, facilities / critical systems management, security planning, or related role.
- Awareness of operational resilience regulatory requirements
- 5 plus years of professional experience.
- Experience in project management, group facilitation and training are required.
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (DRII CBCP) or equivalent industry certification.
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalents preferred.
