Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on the organization's systems, applications, and networks.
Analyze and interpret vulnerability scan results, prioritizing and addressing critical security issues.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified vulnerabilities and improve the overall security posture.
Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure secure coding practices and secure configuration of systems.
Monitor and assess the impact of new vulnerabilities, threats, and exploits, and recommend appropriate actions.
Maintain and enhance the organization's vulnerability management processes and tools.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings, mitigation strategies, and remediation efforts.
Stay current with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and threat landscapes.
Assist in the development and delivery of security training and awareness programs.
Participate in incident response activities, as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or similar.
Proven experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and security auditing.
Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web application security.
Familiarity with common security tools and frameworks (e.g., Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, OWASP).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to cybersecurity.
