Primary Objective:

In this hands on role, the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for working with a multi-disciplined team to design, develop, and implement more cost-effective, automated methods of manufacturing and testing of electronic industrial products.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Design, develop, and implement automation methods of manufacturing and testing
  • Design and generate schematics/electrical wiring diagrams
  • Programming microcontrollers, PLCs, and other control devices to manage and regulate the behavior of the mechanical and electronic components in testing and manufacturing equipment
  • Creating testing hardware design and development plans
  • Design test fixtures and equipment for testing various output protocols
  • Develop, implement, and maintain test process instructions for production
  • Build and assemble industrial control panels / racks and equipment
  • Troubleshoot / debug and perform root-cause analysis on testing and production equipment
  • Develop overall integration & test strategy and schedule test plans
  • Continuously review equipment capacity and provide recommendations


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, with Mechatronics experience, or Mechatronics Engineering

Experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience with 3D modeling software, creating part models and complex assemblies, preferably using Solidworks
  • Experience designing schematics using Solidworks
  • Experience programming various PLC's
  • Understand basic programming languages
