JOB SUMMARY:Olympic Medical Physicians' Pediatric clinics are located in Port Angeles and Sequim, on Washington State's beautiful North Olympic Peninsula. We have an immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collegial team. Highlights of the practice include: -Lifestyle-balancing no call responsibilities -Industry-leading support staff ratios, including robust RN support, Care Navigators and integrated Behavioral Health -Integrated electronical healthcare record system (EPIC) with local and regional hospital systemsThis Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) position is exclusively outpatient with no call requirements. In collaboration with our pediatric physicians, the successful Pediatric APC at OMP is focused on providing excellent person-centered care to rural patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education
Graduate of a physician assistant program and certified by WA State
OR
Master of Science in Nursing, Masters of Nursing, or equivalent Nurse Practitioner Degree

Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements.
Experience
2 years prior pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
Licensure/Credentials
Current Washington State RN Licensure and current Washington State ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority in Washington State
OR
Current Washington State PA-C licensure and prescriptive authority

Maintains current DEA registration. Buprenorphine waiver preferred, but not required.
BLS is required within 30 days of hire.
Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff.
