The Role:

The Procurement Operations Lead role is responsible to lead change management focusing on developing our suppliers into strategic partnerships, managing relationships, problem solving and taking action on gaps with our suppliers and owning results. Supporting strategies, the key role of Procurement Operations is problem solving; engaging cross-functionally and play in the world of the possibilities, to make things happen by challenging assumptions, improving processes, and working with suppliers to achieve outstanding results.

What You Will Do:

Customer Service

• Responsible for Performance and Results of Suppliers.

• In charge of Leading and Driving Supplier Performance Management Program as a whole, for participating Suppliers.
• Build, implement and optimize Supplier Management through continuous improvement.
• Implement and lead the Procurement processes and cross-functional collaboration with the suppliers as well as Planning, Quality, and other internal stakeholders to meet the desired OTIF (On Time & In Full), CFR (Case Fill Rate), and Quality targets.
• In charge of pricing setup and updates in collaboration with the procurement category team.
• Invoice exception (price discrepancies) resolution in collaboration with accounts payable.
• Establish strong, collaborative, relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure ongoing alignment related to supply performance.
• Proactively assess current supply strategies to ensure they meet the Operation needs, and initiate improvements with suppliers and stakeholders to increase supply chain reliability.

Sourcing Support

• Execute Quotations and RFQs in coordination with Procurement Category team.
• Secure on time execution of Cost Savings projects related to Suppliers to meet company targets.
• Owns Procurement Processes Improvement and Implementation related to Suppliers.
• Perform spend analysis in collaboration with Procurement Category team.
• Ensure contract terms and conditions are executed (pricing, rebates, payment terms, incoterms, etc.) per the agreed timing across the Spend Category.
• Lead the implementation and execution of Sourcing Strategies defined by Procurement Category team.
• Ensures the Sourcing Strategies implemented by Procurement Category team are robust and adequate for meeting operation and business needs.
• Engages and influences supplier negotiations in alignment with Procurement Category Team
• Support new supplier identification, selection, and qualification activities.
• Lead and Drive as the Procurement Leader and representation on New Product development, commercialization forums and prioritization process.

What You Will Bring:

Required

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of experience in or with Supply Chain or related (i.e. Materials Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Planning Quality, R&D, Packaging Engineering, Logistics) in relevant business categories with experience supporting large sourcing initiatives in the assigned categories.

• Proven organizational skills & ability to perform under pressure & manage competing priorities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Process improvement proficiency, e.g., root cause understanding, lean methodology, etc.
• Ability to work on a high-performing team in collaborative environment.
• Quantitative/qualitative analysis, including business process metrics & measures linking to business KPIs.
• Strong Communication and Presentation Skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions, strong critical thinking.
• Good Level Proficiency on MS Office, Outlook and Excel. Proven track of record of achieving results in a cross functional environment.

Preferred

• Experience with an ERP system
• Experience in the CPG industry
