The Work Itself

The National Sales Executive will focus on new business sales in a designated territory pointed at the Credit Union market. The incumbent is responsible for building and maintaining a territory, qualification, lead generation, sales journey management, negotiating contracts, and closing financial and payment solution opportunities. This is a sales quota driven role, measured by the success of new business sold in a given year against a goal. The incumbent is expected to create new opportunities using their established network of contacts in the industry, a good understanding of the competitive landscape, and in-depth industry knowledge. The candidate is expected to have a consultative approach to winning business, leverage the value proposition of Catalyst, build our brand in their territory, and develop key relationships with Credit Union executives. Incumbent will foster in-depth and productive relationships at all levels with both the credit union and Catalyst team.

Salary Grade: $110,000 (minimum) - $120,000 (midpoint) - $130,000 (maximum)

The Talent You Bring

The Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum five (5) years B2B sales in the financial industry
  • Track record of carrying a sales quota
  • Self-starter that promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals
  • Ability to meet deadlines and sales quotas
  • Drive, grit, team oriented with a desire to compete and win
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills written, verbal, listening
  • Demonstrate excellent reasoning and analytical skills; strong executive presentation, problem solving, and negotiation skills with ability to influence decisions of others
  • Experience with self managing CRM applications
  • Ability to interpret P&L Statement, NCUA 5300 Call Report and monthly financial statements
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
