The Products & Marketing organization is looking for a Director of Market Development to lead a team of Market Development Managers to help identify and deploy market development strategies to build customer engagement and drive growth.This position is open to remote candidates based in the United States and involves up to 25% travel annually.

The pay range for this position is between $115,000 - $140,000 annually; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.

What you will be doing:
- Develop and execute the Market Development roadmap to drive growth across the organization.
- Create a measurement framework to synthesize results to make data-driven decisions.
- Drive market engagement strategies to excite customers and inspire them to partner with McGraw Hill.
- Command the budget, targeting, SOW, and tracing process across Market Development.
- Retain and recruit top talent within the Market Development team.
- Manage a team of six Market Development Managers along with freelance support teams to enable Market Development plans.
- Create resources and tools to help inform product development.
- Partner with sales and marketing on strategies to drive key account growth across the 2/4 year and Private Sector markets.
- Participate in the Marketing Leadership Team to inform overall GTM strategies.
We're looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Three or more years of Project Management/Editorial/Market Development/Business Development. experience, preferably in the field of education, higher education or technology.
- Strong leadership experience working in a matrix organization.
- Strong Project Management skills and attention to detail, experienced manager of multiple projects.
- Strong Data Analysis skills.
- Ability to work with senior leaders across a matrixed organization with multiple teams.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Independent problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to identify, prioritize, and execute Market Development roadmap and objectives to grow market share, promote customer retention, and drive revenue.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and Qualtrics
