Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Program Manager to lead and execute our China for China operations and manufacturing strategy. This role will be pivotal in driving the strategic initiatives and ensuring seamless collaboration across various functions, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business Unit (BU) Leaders, and other key stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing processes that align with our strategic goals and enhance our operational efficiency in China.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current and future product portfolio, customer demand, and market trends in China.
- Identify and prioritize the products and components that need to be localized or sourced from China to meet the "Made in China" requirements and customer expectations.
- Develop and execute a detailed project plan for each product line, covering team, equipment, cost, location, timeline, quality, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor and report on the progress and performance of the localization projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current and future product portfolio, customer demand, and market trends in China.

- Develop and execute a detailed project plan for each product line, covering team, equipment, cost, location, timeline, quality, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor and report on the progress and performance of the localization projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the China for China finished goods strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Define and drive the strategy for manufacturing cells and localized product lines within China.
Collaboration and Partnership:
- Partner with Supply Chain to design and implement a Tier 1 supply chain strategy tailored to the Chinese market.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to optimize production processes and ensure seamless integration of new manufacturing cells.
- Work closely with BU Leaders to align operational strategies with business goals and customer needs.
- - Establish and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including supply chain, manufacturing, business unit leaders, R&D, engineering, finance, legal, and regulatory teams.
- - Partner with supply chain to optimize the bill of materials (BOM) and sourcing strategy for the localized products and components, leveraging local suppliers and vendors whenever possible.
- - Coordinate and align with the global operations and manufacturing teams to ensure business continuity and consistency across regions and markets.
- - Communicate the vision, goals, and status of the China for China strategy to senior management and other relevant parties, soliciting feedback and support as needed.
Program Management:
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute the China for China strategy, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure objectives are met.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver high-quality outcomes within defined timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in operations management, program management, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
