We have an exciting opportunity for a Business System Analyst to join our team.
Purpose:
Consultative services to the business analyzing how to best and most efficiently design and document the requirements to fulfill the business needs. Ensures quality by following PDLC and controls. Provides testing support for system testing and UAT. Ensures these solutions are forward-thinking, sustainable and drive standardization to achieve efficiencies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Consult with Product Management, Product Deployment, Configuration, State Relations, IT, testing associates, and team members to produce analysis, requirements & testing scenarios.
Participate in requirement gathering and gap analysis activities for Product initiatives.
Create the business requirements, functional requirements, and data requirements as required for product initiatives and production support.
Produce and maintain required artifacts and relevant documentation.
Follow established guidelines and processes for PDLC.
Identify continuous process improvement opportunities and operationalize solutions for same.
Track, manage, and report issues.
Technical Skills:
Strong command of Excel and other MS Office Suite Applications
Utilization of Defect tracking tools
Risk Management, Audit, Process Improvement/Workflow
Guidewire System knowledge
Knowledge of PDLC and SDLC
Education, Certifications & Designations:
Bachelor's degree Business, IT or similar field or equivalent work experience
