This is a Software Development position on our VNF modem team. The responsibilities of this position involve understanding requirements, translating those into a software design, identifying and estimating the required work, and then implementing the software based solution as part of our software modem products. As part of the team, this position will collaborate with other team members within an Agile Software Development environment that focuses on working software and continual improvement.

Salary Range: $160,000-$180,000

- BS Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum five years experience as a Software Developer using C++
- Solid understanding of software design, implementation, and testing using current tools and techniques
- Ability to understand, apply, and implement Digital Signal Processing algorithms and techniques in software.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Graduate Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Experience architecting, developing, and delivering software applications for Linux based systems
- Experience with designing and implementing software defined modems/waveforms and interfacing with RF digitizer hardware.
- Experience with communication systems, waveforms, and operational concepts, ideally targeted for satellite ground systems
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment using the Atlassian tools
