Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst for a potential project with the DC Government. This will be a temporary position (lasting one year) with Tecknomic and the project is with the Department of Public Works (DPW). Description:

The Senior Analyst will provide technical, project management, analytical skills and operational support functions as it pertains to risk management and safety functions.

The Senior Analyst should have strong organizational, research and analytical skills, as well as Nation Capitol Region programs and training resources expertise.

Candidates should meet the qualifications of a Safety and Occupational Health Manager/Supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Conducting research, analyzing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports.
Determining program requirements and making recommendations.
Analyzing programs, policies, procedures, and systems and making recommendations to optimize these.
Drafting new or revised policies and procedures.
Assist the Safety and Security administration team with the development of budgets and schedules as well as tracking metrics.
Assessing and recommending on potential issues related to costs, schedules, and performance.
Advising program managers regarding planning, testing, and implementing new programs or systems.
Identifying and resolving issues and problems.
Planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operations and programs.
Preparing and presenting reports and recommendations.

Qualifications:

Senior Analyst Requirements:
5 plus years in safety program development.
10 plus years in Risk Management Program Development
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Familiar with the District facilities and procurement process
Ability to collect and analyze complex sets of data.
Inter-agency coordination with other District agencies
Strong project management skills.
