Description:
Due to an impending retirement Community Maternity Services is seeking a full time (minimum of 35 hours per week) Clinical Director. The Clinical Director oversees therapists and case managers in our residential programs; provides supervision and clinical consultation in our prevention services; supervises adjunct therapeutic staff; and oversees the treatment planning process in residential and prevention programs. This integral position is a member of the administrative team at Community Maternity Services, and dually responsible for separate tasks as a member of that team. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicate effectively in written and oral forms and have excellent time and crisis management skills.

- Oversight of clinical services in Residential Programs
- Supervision of Residential Case Management staff;
- Clinical supervision and consultation for Clinicians and staff in the Residential and Prevention programs.
- Staff training, especially in the area of trauma informed care.
- Management/coordination of all clinical implementation projects and/or new services.
- Consultation with agency staff as an on-site resource for questions and problems related to daily operations and/or client experiences.
- Reports related to regulatory/ accrediting and funding agencies as needed.
- Tracking clinical data, including chart reviews and performance evaluations.
- Serve as a member of the Quality Assurance team related to program activities, incident reporting, consumer satisfaction, etc.;
- Collaboration with the administrative staff team in planning and implementation of new clinical services;
- On-call support, in conjunction with the Associate Executive Director, during non-business hours including weekends and holidays.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- New York State Certification or License (LCSW)
- 5-8 years of progressively responsible experience providing clinical services and supervision, ideally within the child welfare arena.
- Valid NYS driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing crisis within a trauma informed setting
- Experience and/or ability to provide training in a variety of relevant subject areas
- Experience within a residential setting
- Experience with NYS CONNECTIONS
