Supplier Relationship Manager

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Active Suppliers development (capacities, capabilities)
• Ensure delivery commitments.
• Supplier monitoring with respect to OTD & OQD targets
• Establishing and tracking of optimization measures / corrective actions
• RETEX on the accuracy of the corrective actions
• Short-term On-Site missions at suppliers to support in case of issues / crisis
• On-site drumbeat on critical deliveries
• Line Of Balance tracking and on-site spot checks to ensure robustness of delivery commitments.
• Support long-term relationship management.
• Perform specific assessments on capacities, capabilities, rate development, process efficiency, etc.
• Participation to Suppliers evaluation
• Implementation of ADI Strategy concerning Suppliers Performance
• Monthly reporting to ADI Suppliers Performance Coordinator
• Ensure Supply Chain Performance for BURBANK suppliers during serial production and/or projects (NPI)
• Alignment of activities/actions tracking at suppliers with respect to OTD & OQD
• Improvement of the Suppliers Performance
• Support on communication between suppliers and the plant
• All other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Education and/or Experience:

• BS Degree and 5 years of experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment and Technical/ Supply Chain background
• Cost-conscious action and independent working methods
• Knowledge of procurement, preferably in the aviation sector
• High level of communication skills, flexibility, team spirit and assertiveness
• Lean Management / Six Sigma is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the different manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of solving issues methodology
• Sensitive to sustainability
