Summary:
You will be instrumental in executing risk assessments, aggregating risk data for submission to the leadership and various Committees of the Board, and continuous improvement of the ERM Program.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for key reporting of the ERM team to the Leadership Team and the Risk Committee.
- Work closely with and develop relationships across the organization including those at the highest seniority levels to understand their top concerns and objectives.
- Ask probing questions and provide an effective challenge to organizational decision-makers.
- Partner with Business Units leaders and Internal Audit team for special and ad-hoc audit and risk-related projects.
- Facilitate adoption of best practices in governance, risk and controls, tools and technology, and assist in the development of consistent risk rating and reporting across the organization.
- Continually build business knowledge and technical skills by acquiring and sustaining a deep understanding of client's business.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Model Risk, Operational Risk, IT Audit, or related fields.
- Ability to work with minimum direction and possess a high drive for results and the ability to demonstrate trust, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, as you will be working across multiple regions and functions within company, including Legal, HR and Technology.
- Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and in a role where differing points of view are common, including between yourself and more senior members of the organization.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task, plan, execute and deliver on concurrent projects in a timely manner.
