Responsibilities:
This position will be accountable for providing managerial direction, coordinating activities, and developing maintenance initiatives related to production equipment for MOW-Track. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing repairs and maintenance of production equipment such as pay loaders, skid loaders and small power tools; overseeing tool inventory and maintenance in EAM computer systems; and providing timely coordination and implementation of safety procedures. Responsibilities will also include but are not limited to: coordinating purchases and replacements of tools and equipment; on boarding new technology as it relates to mechanical tools used by the MOW-Track; and overseeing the repairs of such tools and equipment as well as keep accurate records of scheduled maintenance and replacement parts. The selected candidate will also disseminate and implement policy changes and modifications; provide administrative support when required; and assist as needed and liaise with upper management. In addition, the selected candidate will oversee subordinates and perform duties that may include developing cost estimates, coordinating general orders, providing necessary round-the-clock inspection; manage three (3) yard locations where all the repairs and maintenance are performed as well as conduct job site visits to locations throughout the New York City Transit system to provide support with any tool and equipment issues that may arise.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Labor Relations, Engineering, Architecture or a closely related field of study and six (6) years of full-time related experience, of which three (3) years must have been in a managerial/supervisory capacity; Or
A satisfactory combination of education and experience.

- Proficiency MS Suite and other tool inventory software.
- Demonstrated knowledge of power tools and equipment.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of NYCT rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of EAM system
