Corporate Environmental Compliance Analyst

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Corporate Environmental Compliance Analyst for our Corporate EHS Compliance team.

This highly motivated, driven individual will be responsible for maintaining compliance with the environmental regulatory requirements applicable to Triumvirate's facilities located in North America.

This position reports to the Corporate Director, Compliance Assurance, Systems, and Programs. This role is onsite and is based in Boston, MA. Hybrid work may be approved on a case-by-case basis.

Essential responsibilities:
  • Permitting (e.g., hazardous waste, air, industrial wastewater, storm water, etc.).
  • Development of facility plans/manuals (e.g., SPCC, Contingency, Emergency Action, etc.).
  • Prepare and review environmental regulatory reports (Tier II, Biennial Waste, Water Discharge, etc)
  • Regulatory review and research in support of Triumvirate's business.
  • Prepare and conduct environmental compliance training(s).
  • Interact effectively with regulatory agencies.
  • Oversee management of environmental compliance documentation.
  • Track inspections, permits, spill records, compliance history, etc.
  • Monitor and review pending changes to environmental regulations.
  • Manage financial assurance documentation for regulated sites.

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental-related discipline or other related degree. Work experience or other degreed fields will be taken into consideration.
  • Current working knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations including Resource Conservation & Recovery Act, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, TSCA, etc.
  • 5 years minimum hands-on Environmental Health & Safety experience.
  • Top-notch organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail with ability to keep the big picture in mind.
  • Excellent soft (people) skills; ability to work well with clients and co-workers.
  • Self-starter, motivated individual.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to both TEI locations and third-party sites to perform site inspections and audits.
  • Physical requirements - must be able to ascend and descend stairs and ladders and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Teams, OneDrive, Outlook

Preferred Requirements
  • Project management and strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Training/public speaking skills.
