The Account Executive for Heat Transfer Fluids is responsible for driving sales growth, maintaining customer relationships, and expanding market presence within the US. This role requires an individual with a technical background in heat transfer fluids, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the HVAC Market - specifically the top Mechanical Contractors in the largest cities in the US.
- Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Provide technical support and expertise to customers, addressing their specific needs and requirements.
- Conduct regular customer visits and follow-ups to ensure continuous engagement.
- Controls requests for pricing from customer by utilizing competition information, market intelligence and current price list to recommend prices that will fit customer's request and fall within profit objectives.
- Identifies opportunities for incremental profit growth, presents creative solutions to customers and closes business to achieve sales goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to demand team and Director.
- Stay updated with industry developments and technological advancements in heat transfer fluids.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's heat transfer fluid products and their applications.
- Deliver product presentations and training sessions to customers and potential clients.
- Collaborate with the technical team to address customer inquiries and technical challenges.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and other needs to support the business.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote the company's products.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and delivery of orders.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales within the chemical industry, preferably with a focus on heat transfer fluids or related products.
- Proven track record of sales prospecting.
- Strong technical understanding of heat transfer processes and applications.
- Experience negotiating successful resolutions to complex challenges.
- Superior communication and presentation skills.
- A strong collaborator, able to interact and cooperate with multiple cross functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and varying tasks simultaneously.
- Must be independent, detail oriented, highly organized.
- Expertise in Power Point, Excel and Microsoft.
- Requires a valid driver's license and personal credit card.
- Travel required
