PRIMARY FUNCTION

Provide advanced end-user support for the Clinical application ecosystem, resolving complex issues and serving as a point of escalation for Level 1 analysts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides advanced end user support for the Clinical application ecosystem, resolving complex issues and serving as a point of escalation for Level 1 analysts.
  • Leads user solicitation efforts by coordinating and conducting comprehensive surveys, interviews, and focus groups to gather detailed user feedback and insights.
  • Prepares detailed documentation, including technical guides and troubleshooting procedures, to assist users in effectively utilizing the EHR and ancillary applications.
  • Completes intermediate system configuration tasks, working closely with the Level 3 analysts to implement and test configuration changes, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Leads user testing initiatives, designing test scripts, coordinating user testing efforts, and analyzing results to identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Collaborates in system upgrades through planning, testing, and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, to address technical challenges, improve application performance, and enhance user experience.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance support efficiency, and optimize the EHR application's functionality.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, and project managers, to ensure a cohesive and efficient acquisition integration process.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, both verbally and in writing
  • Participates in special projects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
    • Experience may be commensurate with education.

    EXPERIENCE:
    • 3 to 8 years of related experience supporting an EMR application.
    • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

    LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
    • Preferred EMR Certification


    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
    • EMR Support, Medical Terminology, and Relation Building Skills.
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards (HIPAA).
    • Ability to perform an in-depth analysis of application components, identify issues, and propose solutions. Intermediate in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong typing skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook/Access.
    • High level of written and oral communication in the English language, including the ability to analyze documentation quickly and accurately.

    • Involves frequent telephone contact interaction.
    • Environment requires the ability to multi-task, communicate clearly & concisely, and data entry for extended periods.
    • May require sitting for long periods; also stooping, bending, and stretching for files and supplies.
    • Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, type at 35 wpm, operate a calculator, copier, and such other office equipment as necessary.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to solve problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation.
