About the role

Mipac has opened a new office in Tucson, Arizona and we are currently taking application's for a Business Development Manager that will support the growth of our business into the US. As a BDM your role is to build relationships with new and existing clients, understand their problems and become a respected, trusted advisor.

A key to your success is your ability to bring people together, build relationships and develop new business in an affable and professional manner.

You will identify, research, strategise, and convert market opportunities into long lasting relationships based on trust, mutual respect and eventually, a strong track record. You understand and live by the fact that what is good for our client, is good for Mipac.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and implement growth strategies and sales plans within nominated industries and/or regions.
  • Initiate and drive the whole procurement cycle, from identifying potential clients through to executing contracts.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the client organisation.
  • Evaluate client requirements and developing a solution to meet their needs.
  • Create and manage an account development plan for each nominated account.
  • Represent Mipac at exhibitions and conferences.
About you; what you bring to the table:
  • You know the key vertical markets we do work in and know who to talk to, including a sound operational understanding of mining and minerals processing.
  • Demonstrated success in a complex solution selling role in one or more of Mipac's key vertical markets.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with multiple sales channels and support functions.
  • A customer focused mindset.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication.
