Reporting to the Director, Capex Project Management this role is responsible for leading capex projects throughout Ontario.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage projectsThis role requires someone who can apply project management principles as well as provide strategic operational insight to stakeholdersIf you are a self - starter with strong project experience, this is a great opportunity to join a growth -orientated company with a strong development mandate.

What you bring to the table:
- 3-5 Years of experience as a coordinator or project manager in the construction field
- Knowledge of project management techniques, tools and methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical, business and project management teams to proactively manage a project
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen in the residential development sector
- Exceptional communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders)
- A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgement, strong operational focus and a creative thinker.
- Supervise and coordinate project deliverables with internal resources, consultants, trades and approval authorities
- Create and manage project plans that align with scope, time, cost, quality and resources
- Ensure that change, acceptance and approval management is proactive and effective on all projects
- Experience with completion and handover of buildings, infrastructure and water and sewer projects strongly preferred
What you will be doing:
- Provide effective and strategic management of projects delivered on time and on budget according to plan and proforma expectations
- Supervise and coordinate project deliverables with internal resources, consultants, trades and approval authorities
- Create and manage project plans that align with scope, time, cost, quality and resources
- Ensure that change, acceptance and approval management is proactive and effective on all projects
- Identify and mitigate risks to project, proactively escalate to Director and Stakeholders as required
- Provide timely communication and reporting to the organization, project teams and stakeholders
- Effectively and consistently deliver project status reporting updates against proforma milestones and financial targets
- Lead, develop and empower team members
