Nous recherchons un(e) gestionnaire de projet talentueux(se) pour se joindre notre mission d'acclrer la transition vers un avenir plus vert. Ce poste reporte directement la Directrice de Projet et est bas au Qubec, dans la rgion de Montral. En se joignant notre quipe, vous jouerez un rle cl dans l'tablissement et la monte en puissance de l'une des premires usines de batteries grande chelle en Amrique du Nord.

Sous la responsabilit de la Directrice de Projet, le-la Gestionnaire de projet jouera un rle central dans la mise en place de notre nouvelle mga-usine en participant la planification dtaille des activits et la gestion du budget. Vous participerez au management de l'excution d'une zone, incluant le suivi du dveloppement du design, des achats, de la construction et l'installation des quipements de production. Le tout dans le respect des rgles de scurit, avec des hauts standards de qualit.

Le-la candidat(e) retenu(e) apportera une riche expertise technique, une exprience en gestion de projet et une approche proactive de rsolution de problmes, cross-fonctionnelle.

Les principales responsabilits sont :

• Direction de projet : Diriger les aspects relatifs la discipline et la porte de l'interface du projet, en veillant ce que tous les lments soient mticuleusement planifis, grs et excuts afin d'atteindre les objectifs du projet.
• Excution du projet : Diriger la planification, l'ingnierie et la conception, l'approvisionnement, la construction et la mise en service pour une porte dfinie, et assurer la liaison avec l'quipe charge de l'environnement et des autorisations pour garantir la conformit avec les rglementations. Grer le suivi des obstacles, des risques et des opportunits potentiels et veiller la rsolution et la mise en uvre des solutions, en rationalisant l'excution.
• Dveloppement de l'quipe : Diriger, encadrer et responsabiliser les autres membres de l'quipe, en favorisant un environnement de travail collaboratif et innovant.
• Collaboration interfonctionnelle : Travailler en troite collaboration avec l'quipe de conception de l'usine, l'quipe des oprations, l'quipe des achats, les professionnels de l'ingnierie, les entrepreneurs, les parties prenantes et les pairs afin d'intgrer les solutions lies aux processus et aux btiments de manire transparente dans l'ensemble du projet.
• Objectifs ambitieux : Conduire le projet vers la ralisation de nos objectifs ambitieux (respect des cots et du calendrier), en jouant un rle cl dans la construction et le lancement russis de la mga-usine.
• Esprit intrapreneurial : Saisir l'opportunit d'agir en tant qu'intrapreneur dans notre environnement en constante volution, o la rsolution crative des problmes et l'initiative sont trs apprcies.

Project Manager

We are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our mission to accelerate the transition to a greener future. This position reports directly to the Project Director and is based in Montreal. By joining our team, you will play a key role in the establishment and ramp-up of our new gigafactory and contribute to the construction of one of the first large-scale battery factories in North America.

About the job

Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager will play a central role in the implementation of our new gigafactory, participating in the detailed planning of activities and budget management, through the management of the execution of an area, including the monitoring of design development, procurement, construction and installation of production equipment, in compliance with safety regulations, with high quality standards.

The successful candidate will bring a wealth of technical expertise, project management experience and a proactive, cross-functional approach to problem solving, making a significant contribution to the success of our innovative battery production projects.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Project Leadership : Drive discipline and interface scope aspects of the project, ensuring that all elements are meticulously planned, managed, and executed to meet project objectives
• Project Execution : Steer Planning, Engineering and Design, Procure, Construction, Commission for a defined scope, and liaise with the environmental and permitting team to ensure compliance with regulations. Manage the monitoring of potential blockers, risks, opportunities and ensure resolution and implementation of solutions, streamlining execution.
• Team Development : Lead, mentor, and empower other team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with our factory design team, operations team, procurement team, engineering professionals, contractors, stakeholders, and peers to integrate process & buildings related solutions seamlessly into the overall project.
• Ambitious Targets : Drive the project towards achieving our ambitious goals (meeting cost and schedule compliance), playing a key role in the successful construction and launch of the Gigafactory

Quelques prrequis:

• Baccalaurat ou matrise en ingnierie, management ou domaine connexe
• Plusieurs expriences pertinentes idalement dans un rle similaire
• Une vaste exprience en leadership de projets dans des environnements industriels exigeants et en volution rapide.
• Une matrise de Microsoft Project
• Une forte orientation vers l'excution, d'excellentes comptences en gestion du temps.
• De solides comptences en communication, tant en interne qu'avec les fournisseurs et les contractants en construction
• La capacit travailler dans des dlais serrs.
• Une approche structure et organise.
• La capacit travailler en quipe tout en tant autonome.
• Communication bilingue : Communiquer couramment en franais et en anglais pour collaborer efficacement une quipe diversifie et assurer la liaison avec les parties prenantes locales et internationales.

We believe that you have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or relevant field
• Several relevant experience ideally in a similar role
• Extensive project leadership experience in demanding and fast-paced industrial environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project
• Strong execution orientation, excellent time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both internally and with suppliers and construction contractors
• The ability to work with tight deadlines.
• A structured and organized approach.
• The ability to work as part of a team while being autonomous.
• Bilingual communication: Fluent in French and English to work effectively with a diverse team and liaise with local and international stakeholders.
