Investor Relations Overview

Our four amazing brands are supported by hard working teams and franchisees diligently executing against our strategic priorities. We are looking for someone to help support RBI's Investor Relations strategy and initiatives. This is a dynamic and highly visible role that provides for significant learning opportunities across RBI. Reporting to the Senior Director of Investor Relations, you'll be an integral part of shaping our financial story for investors and research analysts. Our team partners with Brand, Finance, Communications and Legal teams to clearly articulate our performance, strategy and growth opportunities to external audiences. This individual's key priorities will include managing preparations for our quarterly earnings calls and investor events, assisting with quantitative and qualitative analyses of RBI and peer results, and supporting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter with strong communication and analytical skills to join our small but mighty IR team!

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong understanding of each of our business units, our overall strategy and the restaurant industry
  • Manage earnings process, including supporting preparation of the earnings script, press release and Q&A
  • Assist in drafting materials for investor conferences, RBI hosted investor events and lender presentations
  • Build strong internal networks to ensure IR is current on business progress so we can effectively articulate RBI's performance and strategic priorities to the investment community
  • Engage in qualitative and quantitative analyses of RBI and competitor results, monitor research reports on RBI, the industry and competitors, and provide relevant summaries to internal teams
  • Review and analyze Wall Street estimates for RBI and peers and maintain valuation analyses
  • Stay updated on market sentiment and reactions to RBI and competitor developments
  • Support outreach efforts including coordinating investor meetings and conferences and tracking engagements
  • Prepare regular updates for the executive team and Board of Directors on IR related activities
  • Track RBI's shareholder ownership and inform leadership team of notable changes
  • Support ESG outreach initiatives and preparations for RBI's annual shareholder meeting
  • Maintain the Investor Relations section of RBI's website and third-party vendor relationships
  • Assist with ad hoc projects such as Board presentations, research requests and benchmarking analyses

Qualifications & Experience
  • Positive, resourceful and intellectually curious team player who is willing to work hard to deliver results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze complex financial information and translate into a clear narrative for external audiences
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and keen attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with key internal and external partners
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders and investors in a highly professional manner
  • Skilled in presenting information in a concise and compelling manner
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Familiarity with OneStream, Bloomberg, Factset and/or Alphasense strongly preferred
  • Four-year university degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or economics
  • 5 years of experience in highly analytical financial roles including corporate finance, investment banking, investor relations, and/or sell-side/buy-side strongly preferred
  • Travel may be required as needed
