HRIS Computer Systems Analyst -
5+ years experience as a PRISM HR system administrator
Work within the team to design and develop solutions to complex applications problems and system administration issues with a primary focus on the Prism Application and its integrated products. Perform systems management and integration functions. Responsibilities include communicating with users and analyzing system requirements to design an appropriately efficient solution. Identify and respond to data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems.
Responsibilities include regular maintenance of system parameters, analyzing user requirements, maintaining procedures and review computer system releases to implement best practices and new capabilities / workflows and to automate or improve existing system performance.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Review, monitor and maintain our principal Client Operating System (Prism HR).
Expand or modify the system(s) to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.
Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.
Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components. Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability.
Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture.
Read manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn how to develop programs that meet staff and user requirements.
Monitor system operation to detect potential problems.
Pro-actively recognizes & solves problems and strives for constant improvement and a better client experience.
